Position Summary
The Clearing and Settlement Support department (CAS Support) is part of the Network Processing Client Information Clearing and Settlement (CICAS) organization. We are responsible for addressing customer queries, making minor system enhancements, managing the production recovery/impact analysis and providing the 24x 7 production support for some of the key applications in this area. The successful candidate will work as an individual contributor and become a recognized expert within Visa responsible for contributing and building support strategy for clearing and settlement applications. This position is responsible for solving unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage all open tickets and ensure customers get regular updates regarding case status
• Manage all the assigned open queries to the fastest resolution
• Collaborate with business units and analysts to understand the issues
• Clearly communicate complex issues to the varied knowledge levels of the external customers
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities, ensuring all objectives are accomplished
• Analyze, document, design, code, unit test solutions for system enhancements, and system fixes
• Identify opportunities for further system and process improvements
• Provide rotational 24x7 on call support for problem analysis and resolution as scheduled

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent technical degree) is required
• 0 to 3 Years of software design and development experience, expert troubleshooting and reasoning skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers as well as with internal software developers
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation and collaboration skills
• Willingness to learn from, and share your knowledge with, other team members
• Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multi-national, multi-time-zone corporate environment
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, well organized, attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skill and extreme attention to detail
• Capable of coding, testing and implementing quality code with zero defects under tight timeframes
• Ability to multi task and handle multiple competing priorities with minimal direction
• Proficient in the IBM Mainframe environment with the knowledge of JCL, CLIST, ISPF, Fileaid, DB2, COBOL, C/C++
• Experience designing and developing solutions for highly scalable, highly available complex systems, preferably in the payment systems or other financial services industry is a plus
